Affichant déjà trois Grammy Awards, l’auteure-compositrice-interprète américaine annonce sa tournée mondiale, baptisée God Must Really Love Me. Le 5 décembre, elle fera escale à La Madeleine, à Bruxelles.
La tournée est entièrement placée sous le signe de son sixième album studio, God Must Really Love Me, un disque qui cristallise un moment d’harmonie magique entre l’élan artistique et la nouvelle vie de maman de cette artiste originaire du sud de la Californie. Dans la foulée de ses précédentes créations, comme l’album certifié disque d’or Unbreakable Smile et la sortie de TORI. en 2024, ce projet marque son œuvre la plus intimiste et la plus spontanée à ce jour.
Les balises de ce nouveau chapitre artistique ont été posées lors de sa tournée avec Ed Sheeran lors de l’été 2025. Alors qu’elle attendait son fils Zayden, elle a enregistré les premières démos dans des studios aux quatre coins de l’Europe. Mais la véritable explosion créative n’est survenue qu’après la naissance, en novembre. Alors qu’auparavant, Tori peaufinait chaque détail vocal à la perfection, elle embrasse désormais une approche alliant la spontanéité et le naturel du moment : certaines chansons ont même une gestation organique à partir de mémos vocaux enregistrés pendant qu’elle allaitait. Le résultat ? Une riche fusion de R&B, de soul et de gospel, où sa virtuosité est entièrement au service d’une narration empreinte d’une grande sincérité. Dans des morceaux tels que l’hypnotisant Control et le fragile Bird, clin d’œil à son prénom japonais, elle partage ses réflexions les plus intimes sur la foi et l’identité. God Must Really Love Me sortira plus tard ce printemps, le 12 juin.

The tour centers entirely around her sixth studio album, God Must Really Love Me, a record that captures the Southern California native in a moment of magical harmony between her artistic impulse and her new life as a mother. Following the success of her previous work, such as the Gold-certified Unbreakable Smile and the 2024 release of TORI., this project marks her most intimate and unfiltered work to date.
A New Chapter
The foundations for this new chapter were laid during her tour with Ed Sheeran in the summer of 2025. While expecting her son, Zayden, she recorded the first demos in studios across Europe. However, the true creative explosion followed after his birth in November.
Where Tori previously polished every vocal detail to perfection, she now embraces the rawness of the moment: some songs even emerged organically via voice memos during feedings. The result is a rich fusion of R&B, soul, and gospel, where her virtuosity is fully dedicated to honest storytelling. In tracks like the hypnotic Control and the fragile Bird (a nod to her Japanese name), she shares her deepest reflections on faith and identity. God Must Really Love Me will be released later this spring on June 12.
