Following his impressive performance at Couleur Café last summer, Skepta returns to Brussels for a concert at La Madeleine on Wednesday, December 2, 2026. During his “The Fork and Knife Tour,” the British rapper will showcase his long-awaited sixth studio album, set for release on November 6. Along with the album announcement, he’s also dropping “Pandora’s Box,” the first single from this new record. It’s a promising start to a new chapter in the career of one of the absolute greats of British grime.

Joseph Junior Adenuga, better known as Skepta, grew up in Tottenham, London, and over the years has emerged as one of the most influential artists in the British and international rap scene. As a producer, songwriter, and rapper, he took his first steps with Meridian Crew, after which he founded the independent label “Boy Better Know” together with his brother JME. With his sharp flow, powerful productions, and independent approach, he helped grime grow into a genre that resonates far beyond British borders. Following “Microphone Champion” (2009) and “Doin’ It Again” (2011), Skepta made his definitive breakthrough with “Konnichiwa” (2016). The album won the prestigious Mercury Prize and featured some of his best-known songs, including “Shutdown” and “Man.” With “Ignorance Is Bliss” (2019), he continued his musical journey, followed by “Insomnia” (2020), a collaborative album with Chip and Young Adz. He has collaborated with big names like A$AP Rocky, Drake, and Wizkid, all while constantly reinventing his sound. His recent project with Fred again.., “Skepta .. Fred,” demonstrates how he effortlessly continues to push the boundaries between genres.

On ‘The Fork and Knife’, Skepta blends grime, garage, house, jungle, and electronic music into a sound that is firmly rooted in contemporary British culture. At the same time, he explores themes such as identity and his Nigerian roots, which play a significant role in his story. After a career spanning more than twenty years, Skepta continues to chart his own course and expand his musical universe, without losing sight of his artistic independence. On Wednesday, December 2, 2026, Belgian fans will once again have the chance to see him perform live at La Madeleine in Brussels!
